Kunlun (Gonryun) Access

Description

Kunlun (shown on travel maps as Gonryun) is a secluded village in Korean-fantasy style: paper lanterns, bamboo, quiet back-alleys. The town was cut off from the world for ages and until recently let visitors in only through the port of Alberta. You reach it by sea: board the boat at the Alberta docks and it carries you straight to Kunlun. Entry is free — no level and no fare for the boatman.

Walkthrough
  1. Get to Alberta, the main port city. Fastest options: a Kafra teleport from a nearby town, or the Comodo boats that run to Alberta.
  2. In Alberta, head to the docks in the south-east part of town, where the ships to overseas lands (Amatsu, Ayothaya and Kunlun) are moored.
  3. Find the boatman bound for Kunlun and agree to set sail — the crossing is free and asks for nothing in return.
  4. The boat drops you right inside the town of Kunlun (gonryun). No level is required to enter.
  5. Wander the town: the market and Kafra are up top, while the narrow alleys lead into the indoor houses (gon_in).
  6. Stop by Chief SaYumMoon in his house (gon_in 17,93) — the village elder greets you and tells you about the place.
  7. From here the rest of the content opens up: the field gon_fild01 lies to the north, and the entrance to the Kunlun dungeon (gon_dun) is in the southern part of town.
  8. You return to Alberta on the same boat; if you like, set a Kafra save point here right away.
