Lighthalzen Access

Quest giver: Security Guard Lighthalzen
Description

Lighthalzen is a sprawling metropolis with a wealthy uptown and run-down slums. The only way in is by Airship: the loop route Juno <-> Lighthalzen <-> Einbroch. The most notable local quest is Friendship (reconciling two old friends, Maku and Digotz), available from base level 30.

Walkthrough
  1. First reach Juno (Schwaltzvalt). From Juno head to the Airship station and board the airship -- the loop route serves Juno, Lighthalzen and Einbroch.
  2. Wait for the airship to stop at Lighthalzen and disembark at the station. You arrive in the uptown -- the wealthy part of the city.
  3. To enter the slum district, walk to the Security Guard at lighthalzen (267,200). Without a pass he won't let you through.
  4. Passage opens either when the guard is distracted or asleep (night/morning shift), or with the Pass item earned through the city storyline.
  5. In the slums find Maku at lighthalzen (337,232) and talk to him -- he mentions an old friend who betrayed him. This starts the Friendship quest (requires base level 30+).
  6. Following Maku's hints, track down Digotz -- the old friend with a knife-in-the-back story -- and hear both sides of the falling-out.
  7. Work through the steps: carry word back and forth between Maku and Digotz, and hand over the Friend's Diary to reveal the truth of their friendship.
  8. Bring the line to reconciliation (Digotz passes on in peace) and Maku rewards you with experience -- the reward scales with your base level.
