Structured guides with steps, required items and rewards — for job change, location access and hat quests on uaRO.
Wizard Hat
A custom server quest for crafting the Wizard Hat headgear. In Geffen you will find a craftsman named Wizard Hat Dude who, for a fair fee and some rare materials, will make this hat for you. You will need a Magician Hat, a Bathory Card and a hefty sum of zeny. The quest is simple, repeatable and does not affect game balance.
Umbalian Language
Wise Man Fabius in Juno has lost three of his scholarly references — they were carried off by three of his former students scattered across the towns of Midgard. Gather all three items, return them to the sage, and he will teach you the language of the Umbala people. Knowing it lets you talk with Umbalians and take part in their quests. This is an alternative way to learn Umbalian without travelling to Umbala village itself.
Masque of Tutankhamen
Near the southern gate of Morocc loiters a slippery rogue named Turban Thief, who lifted a rare pharaoh's mask from the Umbala tribe. For the right coin he's willing to part with his loot. The mask is sold ready-made, so there are no materials to gather — just haggle and keep some zeny on you. It's a small cosmetic headgear with no combat value, purely a collector's piece.
Treasure Hunter Quest (THQ)
Treasure Hunter Quest (THQ) is a uaRO-custom system built as a quest hub for the Treasure Hunters guild in Juno (yuno_in01). First you join the guild for a fee, after which the Quest Manager hands you one random task at a time. Completing tasks earns Treasure Tokens — the guild's own currency that you later trade in a dedicated shop for zeny, rare weapons and cards. It is not a single delitem quest but a whole feed of dozens of tasks of varying difficulty.
Sunglasses
Want to get yourself a pair of Slotted Sunglasses — shades with one card slot? This is a custom two-step quest: first pay a broker in Alberta for a tip, then bring a ready pair of Sunglasses to a maker east of Morroc. She adds the slot and hands the upgraded pair back. It costs a fair bit of zeny, so save up first.
Pecopeco Hairband
A custom quest for the Pecopeco Hairband headgear. In Aldebaran a craftsman named Peco Master admires the local peco pecos and offers to make you a special wing-shaped headgear coloured after the majestic peco. You will need to hunt peco pecos around the city and gather some rare ingredients. The finished headgear is engraved with your own name.
New Hats (Zac)
Zac stands in Prontera (prt_in 130,66) and calls himself the eldest of four crafter brothers who make the newer headgears. The idea is simple: you pick the hat you want, bring the exact set of materials, and the master forges it for you. Zac himself makes the Bongun Hat, while the other five hats (Poring Hat, Sphinx Hat, Kafra Band, Panda Hat, Crescent Hairpin) are made by his brothers standing nearby in the same building. Each hat has its own recipe, so the materials depend on which one you choose.
May Hats (Yakima)
Yakima in gonryun is a multi-hat master: in a single talk he can craft several rare headgears for you. The idea is simple: pick the item you want from the menu, learn its material list, then bring everything at once. This is a uaRO custom quest with no level requirement and no zeny cost — you pay only in ingredients, so the workshop is really a trade of rare drops for a finished hat. You can make as many items as you can gather materials for.
Magistrate Hat
A widow in Louyang mourns her husband, who was falsely accused of theft. Only the ancient Magistrate Hat can reveal the truth, but demons tore it to pieces and scattered it long ago. You will follow a chain of storytellers from Louyang to Gonryun, learn the relic's fate, and gather materials so a master can recreate the hat. This is a custom uaRO quest with no combat requirements — it just takes patience and a little farming.
Lord Kaho's Horn
Lord Kaho's Horn is one of the strongest headgears on uaRO, and earning it is no small feat. In Geffen you'll meet the NPC Lord Kaho's Servant, who agrees to forge the master's horn but demands a huge list of rare materials. Almost all of them drop from MVP bosses, so this quest is aimed at a player already comfortable in the endgame. The reward is worth it: the finished headgear is handed over instantly once you deliver everything required.
Balmung & Lord Kaho's Horn
The Royal Messenger in Prontera runs a royal quest that trades rare materials for one of two top-tier rewards — the Balmung blade or the Lord Kaho's Horn headgear. This is an expensive high-end quest: on top of a pile of elemental components, each branch costs 1,000,000 zeny. You pick the reward up front, since the two branches need different materials. Gather everything beforehand — the NPC only hands over the item if you have it all in your inventory at once.
Iron Cain
Iron Cain is a lower accessory (the lower part of a full helmet) available only on uaRO in exchange for a hero's trophies. In Payon stands a craftsman, Iron Cain Quest, willing to forge the item for anyone who brings him a heap of orcish tokens and a rare emblem. No gold is needed, only battle-won materials. The reward is the Iron Cain itself.
