What MVP Bosses Are
MVPs are elite bosses, the strongest monsters in the world. They have enormous HP pools, powerful skills, and their own drop tables full of rare cards and gear. Do not confuse them with mini-bosses: mini-bosses are also tougher than regular monsters and often roam near MVPs, but they grant no MVP reward and respawn far more frequently. A true MVP always triggers a server-wide announcement the moment it dies.
How the MVP Mechanic Works
When the boss falls, the game separately tracks who dealt the most total damage to it. That player (and in pre-renewal, under certain conditions, their whole party) receives a personal MVP reward: a dedicated item or card delivered straight to the inventory, plus bonus experience.
- The MVP drop goes only to the top damage dealer — it is a separate reward layer.
- The general treasure drop falls to the ground the usual way and is free for anyone fast enough to grab it.
- So both peak damage and loot pickup speed after the kill matter in the fight.
Respawn Timers
Every MVP has a fixed base respawn time plus a small random variance. Until the timer expires, the boss is simply not on the map. Whoever knows the exact spawn window arrives first and gains the edge over competitors.
- Count from the moment of the last kill, not from when you enter the map.
- Account for the random variance: show up a little before the minimum interval.
- Cross-check the site's MVP timers section instead of guessing blindly.
Popular Starter MVPs
For your first attempts, pick bosses with moderate HP and predictable mechanics. In pre-renewal these work well:
- Eddga, Phreeoni, Orc Hero — approachable combat targets for newcomers.
- Osiris, Doppelganger, Baphomet — tougher, with dangerous skills and support mobs.
- Mistress, Golden Thief Bug, Moonlight Flower — each with quirks (Mistress removes skill cast delay, Golden Thief Bug reflects magic).
- Maya, Drake — classic targets hunted for their cards and gear.
Preparing for the Hunt
MVP hunting is mostly about preparation, not just character level.
- Match your weapon element and race to the specific boss: the right element sharply boosts damage.
- Carry enough consumables: HP/SP recovery, fly wings for positioning, and anti-status items.
- Learn the boss skills in advance — some hit an area or inflict dangerous status effects.
- A party with a tank, a healer, and damage dealers kills the boss more safely and faster than going solo.
MVP Etiquette
MVP spots are a shared resource, and competition for them is unavoidable. Behave according to your server's rules.
- If the rules forbid KS (kill steal), do not snipe a boss another party is already fighting.
- Respect the queue and player agreements at popular spawns.
- Remember: the MVP reward still goes to the top damage dealer, so fair play beats conflict.
