Creating a game account
Before you can step into the world of uaRO, you need a game account. Registration happens on the server website through the registration form or your personal cabinet. Fill in the fields carefully — your login and password will be needed every time you enter the game.
- Go to the registration page on the uaRO site and create a new account.
- Choose a strong password and keep it safe — without it you will not be able to log in.
- One website account manages your game data through the cabinet; check your account status there.
- uaRO is a no pay-to-win server, so there are no paid bonuses for registering: every player starts on equal footing.
Downloading the client and patcher
To play, you need the game Client. The site download page offers a full Client as well as a separate Patcher for updates. If you are new, the easiest choice is the full Client — it contains everything you need.
- Open the download page on the site and press the Download button.
- The full Client includes the game together with the Patcher; the standalone patcher is for those who already have a base client.
- Save the file to an easy-to-find folder, such as your desktop, so you can locate it later.
Installation and first launch
After downloading, install the Client and run the Patcher. The Patcher checks for and downloads the latest updates, and then a button to start the game appears.
- Unpack or install the Client into its own folder (avoid system folders such as Program Files).
- Run the Patcher and wait for it to finish downloading all updates.
- Press the start button, enter your account login and password, and log in to the server.
Common problems and fixes
Sometimes the Client does not start on the first try. Most often the cause is simple and takes only a few minutes to fix.
- Your antivirus or Windows Defender may wrongly block the Client or Patcher — add the game folder to its exceptions.
- Run the Patcher as administrator if updates fail to download or you see an access error.
- If the game opens in an awkward screen resolution, change it in the Client launch settings before logging in.
- Make sure the Client is installed to a folder whose path has no special or non-Latin characters to avoid many errors.
First login and creating a character
After logging in you reach the server and character selection screen. Here you create your hero, who begins the journey as a Novice.
- Pick an empty slot and choose to create a new character.
- Choose a name and appearance — everyone starts as a Novice, and your class is chosen later in the game.
